Starting in the picturesque village of Wilcot, in the Vale of Pewsey, this short and level walk includes spectacular views of Picked Hill and Woodborough Hill, as well as following an attractive stretch of the Kennet and Avon Canal.

A gentle walk with a pleasant stretch alongside the Kennet & Avon canal. The directions are up to date and the distance accurate. However, two points are worth noting. The first is that a couple of the field gates don't open and no stile is available. The only recourse is to climb over. The second point is that the route across the fields can be extremely muddy in bad weather. Boots are therefore advisable.
